Welcome Welcome to the IPEIA Conference website. The 18th Annual IPEIA Conference will be held at The Banff Centre February 19 - 21, 2014. It will be one event the leaders in the Pressure Equipment Industry will be hi-lighting on their calendars!  For 2014 we are, once again, offering three speaker presentation streams to our delegates.  They are: Main Stream  Continuing Education Stream Specialized Stream  Cenovus Energy and Intertek, along with IPEIA, would like to take this opportunity to welcome our 2014 Conference Keynote Speaker, Mike Mullane, astronaut!  We have some shots of him in space: Mike in cockpit STS-27 Mike on orbit STS-27 Mike STS-36 in crew van after scrub Mike at age 60 He will be speaking on "Guarding Against the Normalization of Deviation". Activities start the week off on Monday and Tuesday with pre-conference training.  The companies presenting this training are ABSA the pressure equipment safety authority Also returning are a series of workshops that we offer you.  These are mostly one-hour sessions on Wednesday morning, and one eight hour workshop on Tuesday.
