IPEIA is excited to offer a special opportunity for students
Register today for the opportunity to attend the 2026 IPEIA Conference & Exhibition in Calgary, Alberta from March 10 – March 12, 2026, at the Telus Convention Centre.
Up to three students will be fully sponsored to attend the conference, including conference fees, accommodations, and travel costs. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to network with conference delegates and to share their knowledge through technical posters.
Eligible students must meet the following criteria:
- Currently a full-time student at a post-secondary institution, or
- Graduated from a full-time post-secondary institution within the last 12 months (completed studies no earlier than January 2025)
Abstract / Poster Criteria:
Technical posters may be of any topic of your choosing, if it is related to the field of pressure equipment safety, reliability, integrity, and technological improvements associated with design, fabrication, maintenance, operation, and inspection of pressure equipment. Suggested topics may include but are not limited to:
- Asset Integrity Management / Materials / Welding
- Engineering Analysis and Design / Inspection and NDE
- Case Studies / Failure Analysis
- Codes and Regulations
The poster must be original work completed by the submitting student. This work should include data and findings produced by the students themselves; it is not intended to come entirely from external sources.
Students are encouraged to include work from their studies and/or internships if the work is authentic and appropriate permissions have been received from all parties.
Abstracts are limited to 3000 characters.
Students will be selected based on abstracts, finished and/or completed posters will not be required until students have been selected and notified.
